Before getting down to writing an evaluation essay, you must get to know 2 things: how an evaluation essay is structured and what ideas can be disclosed in it. This time we will talk about the most acceptable structure of evaluation essays.
Like any other kind of academic paper, evaluation essays should start from the very beginning, in other words, with the introductory paragraph.
• The introductory paragraph of evaluation essays aims to introduce a problem under analysis. What is there a need to discuss upon this problem? Whether this problem is one of the most burning ones in the present days?
• The body of evaluation essays aims to covey the problem from within. Here you will have to provide enough supporting ideas to your hypotheses and explain why this or that hypothesis has rights to exist. The most significant peculiarity of an evaluation essay is that it should be based on generally known and accepted facts that you will have to analyze by providing reasonable explanations;
• The concluding part of an evaluation summarizes what you have said in the introduction and the main body of your paper.
Each idea of your evaluation essay is better to single out by a new paragraph. While writing your evaluation, you should refer to a certain source. So, be ready to follow the rules of making foot/endnotes according to the required format.
